Purpose: I have created this wiki as a space for participants in the March 15 workshop to get introduced to wikis and maybe have some questions answered before we get started. Perhaps this space will survive as an enduring collaborative tool for everyone at DAA in regard to wikis. If not, I hope it will at least serve our purposes on March 15.
Questions: Click the "Questions" link to make your first edit by posting any questions that you'd like me to address in the workshop. I'll do my best to structure the workshop around your posts.
Some links to get you going: Please add links that you think would be useful.

DAA
DAA Information Wiki: This wiki is very useful, especially for new hires, in providing help with sometimes hard to answer questions. There is information pertaining to health care, cars, places of worship and more.
DAA Social Studies Department Wiki: In an effort to share ideas and resources among current social studies faculty and to make the transition to DAA easier for new social studies teachers, we have started a wiki for social studies teachers. Click the link above to see what we have done so far.
HopkinsShowcase: I have been using wikis to showcase student work here at DAA and at the New Hampton school for a few years. Click the link above to see the wiki that I use for this purpose.
New Hampton School
New Hampton School Wiki: Hans Mundahl is a teacher at the New Hampton School who has done tons of work with Wikis at New Hampton and Outward Bound. Click the link above to see some of the work that Hans and the faculty at New Hampton have done. Outward Bound
Outward Bound Wiki: Outward Bound has had a very successful project, using a wiki as a collaborative tool for its people worldwide.
